Perfect Peace

Isaiah 26:3..."Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind
is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee."

When Satan is assailing our minds with a confusing, conflicting array of emotions, the peace of God can flood our soul and give us rest in the midst of his attacks.

Often God does not take us out of the storm, but He always gives grace to endure the storm and help us emerge stronger
and more stayed on Him.

The Hebrew definition for "stayed" in this verse is: 'to prop,
to lean upon, or take hold of, establish, rest self, stand fast
and sustain.

When we have accepted Christ as Savior, we can know that He is for us and we can rest secure in that knowledge even
while the storms are raging all around us

We can cast all our cares upon Him (for He invites us to do so) and not try to ride out  our storm alone. God has promised to never leave or forsake us.

Jesus has a 'rest' for His children and when we're dwelling in the 'secret' place of the Most High, (under His protection) then we are resting from our struggles and labors, and looking to Him as our Source and Defender.

John 14:27..."Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give unto you. Let not your heart
be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

Although the world is frantically searching for peace, the
heart of fallen man is fearful and cannot understand the only
real and lasting peace comes from having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. At times I think we, as Christians, forget that Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and we are as unsettled and
fearful as non-Christians! He says He gives us His peace (the peace that passes all understanding) but we have to ACCEPT
it! We give Him our worries and concerns, then we take them right back!

Jesus has freely given peace to us if we will but realize and accept it. We do no need to be afraid or troubled. We can rest peacefully under the shadow of the Almighty!

I pray the peace of God will envelop the hearts of all who
read this, The world is a fearful place if you don't know the only One who can give you peace. Peace even in the midst of all the world's turmoil.

HE WILL NEVER LEAVE OR FORSAKE YOU!

In the midst of an anxiety-ridden world, we can find peace
in the very heart of God.

Philippians 4_6-7..."Be anxious for nothing, but in everything,
by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus."
