We will never forget the events of 9-11. Forever

ingrained in our memories are the sights and sounds

of "America Under Attack."

We will never forget the men and women that

lost their lives because of the senseless acts of

terrorism. We will always remember the

heroic efforts of the rescuers, and others

that took part in the saving of lives.

We will never forget that just in one moment

of time, the world can be changed forever.

We must also never forget that we have a

God that is forever watching over us, and

that what Satan meant for evil, God can work

for good.

Romans 8:28

He is aware of everything that happens, and

nothing happens without His

'participating presence.'

I find this a tremendous comfort, knowing that

the events of the past week are in God's

capable, loving hands.

We as a nation are being united in a common

grief. We must work towards a common 'goal.'

We must defeat the forces of Satan, both in

the physical and the spiritual realm. We have

all the powers of God to wage 'war' against

the enemy.

We must pray that the horrors of the past week

will turn many to Christ. He is our only Hope

in a world that is seemingly without hope. He

is the only refuge we have, and we must 'run to Him.'

"Father, in the Name of Jesus we ask that

you turn the hearts of the people to you. We ask for

your healing touch to be upon the survivors. We

ask that You be a source of comfort to those

who have lost loved ones, and that they will

accept that comfort. We ask for strength and

guidance in dealing with the aftermath. We ask

that you would lead and guide those that have

to make the decisions of where to go from

here. We ask that you Hand be upon them.

Father, we thank You that we are not alone,

that you are always with us, in bad times and

in good. You have promised to

"never leave or forsake us."

And we thank you that everything that

happens is first 'filtered through your loving

Hands.'

Father, thank you that we can come to you and

talk to you, and know that you will hear.

Father, bless America again.

Amen.
